Since then, he and his wife, J.J., have continued to expand their portfolio, treating each tenant like family along the way. Together, they founded May Realty Group, LLC in 2015, focusing on purchasing, renovating, managing, and selling both residential and commercial properties.

For over 30 years, she has thrived in the reinsurance industry, leveraging her exceptional attention to detail and unparalleled organizational expertise to oversee every facet of operations and ensure outstanding client service. Her skills extend beyond the corporate world, with vast experience in event planning and home staging, making her uniquely equipped to handle diverse aspects of real estate.

In the early 1990s, J.J. and her husband Todd began investing in personal real estate properties, providing homes to countless families in the local community. This shared passion led to the formation of May Realty Group, LLC in 2015, founded on the guiding principle of treating tenants and clients like family. J.J. is committed to delivering exceptional service, ensuring seamless and stress-free transactions for both buyers and sellers. Meet Yates May: A Rising Star in Real Estate and Law

Yates May joined the May Realty Team in the summer of 2020 as a REALTOR/Broker, bringing enthusiasm, professionalism, and a fresh perspective to the team. A proud graduate of Western Alamance High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications and Journalism, with a minor in Business Administration, from Elon University.

During her time at Elon, Yates distinguished herself as a Legal Professions Scholar and an active member of Elon's Real Estate Club. She also cheered for the Phoenix, proudly representing her university. Go Phoenix! Beyond cheerleading, Yates has a deep passion for dance and gymnastics, having competed for years and loved every moment of performing.

Currently, Yates is a 2L at Elon University School of Law, where she is pursuing both a law degree and an MBA. With plans to graduate in 2026, she aspires to practice law in the local area, combining her expertise in real estate and legal knowledge to serve the community.
